Tartu Kivilinna Kool is a basic secondary school (education level ISCED 2). It is a public school. The number of students is approximately 950, the number of teachers is 64. It is the largest basic secondary school in Estonia. The age range of students is from 7 to 16. The grades are from 1 to 9. Kivilinna school has many study focuses, the most important of them are languages (including foreign languages), creativity, technology, media, IT-education, science and sports. Different study methods are used, various lab activities, field and study trips support the learning process, studentsâ creativity is developed through numerous extra-curricula activities.
